Hear and Now is a Concert with String Duo Ragna Rian and Ema Grčman, and live paper puppet animation - retelling four farytales by H.C. Andersen. 5 seconds 63 frames
In August 2023 I participated in a group exhibition with a video installation. This project was an hommage to handmade animation. 63 frames, makes about 5 seconds of animation, and each frame is handmade. A lot of work goes into just a few seconds, making it very precious. It is ment to contrast how AI can effortlessly make art in seconds, whereas I can only make seconds with a lot of effort. Each painting that makes up this animation consists of three frames, so you can see the micro movements from one frame to the next. You can purchase a frame here

Pommepai, also known as Astrid Mork-Knutsen, has directed and showcased several indie projects.
Her speciality is a mix between analogue and digital techiques, often exploring experimental animation and projectionmapping.
As art-director she strives to build a great team culture with empasis on trust. Her skills include project management, teambuilding and aesthetic leadership.
In 2024 she finished her post-graduate degree in cultural leadership.

Grow - trailer
Grow is a collaboration with coreographers Aurora Itland and Carl André Johansson. It premiered the 23rd of September in Halden 2022, as part of the festival Kulturnatt. It's projectionmapping and dance. Grow raises questions about the world we live in, climate change and developpement for the future in a surreal format.
Outis
A woman, a poet by the name of Outis, finds herself in limbo with a headache and a writer's block. While trying to figure out why she can't write she discovers inconsistencies in her perception of reality. This is my bachelorfilm at Volda University College. This film is dedicated to my father, who passed away in 2019.

The Corona Pandemic came to Europe in February 2020, in March most of Europe went into lockdown. This is the story of Paris during lockdown. The observation of an empty city, unnervingly calm.

Made of Glass
Made of Glass is a short film animated in stop motion. The film is inspired by the material. Glass is very fragile, but you need to be agressive in order to shape it. If you're not careful, it will break.

Cosmos et Chaos
Inspired by exnihilo myths from around the world, this story is about an architect that tries to design his world one cube at the time. He is order and Cosmos. When Chaos arrives with a destructive force, the architect must face his wrath. This shortfilm was part of a class taught at École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs à Paris (ENSAD), called Dramaturgie et Mouvement. It was taught by Serge Verny and Francois Darrasse
The Past
The Past / The Pest is a shortfilm created with Peter Alain Clayborough, Audun Andreas Løkås and Simon Brandal. This film is inspred by the fairytale of the Frederico by Leo Lionni. But in this adult interpreation humanity has dissapeard underground to escape the black plague haunting the land. It is up to Fredrik to make illusions of the outside world to make them forget their dark prison.
