Hi! I'm Astrid Ellensdatter Mork-Knutsen,
the creator behind Pommepai!

I'm a Norwegian filmmaker, animator, and artist.

I love making films. My art and animations are often inspired by philosophy and symbolism. I explore the intersection between analog and digital techniques. This brings a handmade quality to my work and the digital aspects modernize and enhance the look and feel. Recently I've explored projectionmapping, and I hope to do more of this in the future. 

In 2021 I graduated with a bachelors degree in animation form Volda university College in Norway! During my bachelor, I was the leader of the international Animation Volda Festival in 2019, and I spent a semester at École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris. After two years of working freelance, I've started a post-graduate degree in cultural leadership at Oslo Metropolitan university. I will graduate the spring of  2024!
